Trafficworks are a consultancy dedicated to providing independent, specialist transport advice to the public and private sectors. In a competitive environment, they wanted a renovated brand platform from which to spring forward.




Modern consultancy businesses need to look sharp and provide prospective (and current) customers the assurance needed that they can deliver within their specialist area. Not having a brand refresh for 10 years and a non-responsive website, Trafficworks wanted to lift its game.


To better reflect Trafficworks as, a sage within the industry, providing expert and informed guidance, as well as being a people-first business that can help solve complex transport problems.

We began by understanding their key customer personas, and what would be a compelling value proposition. In addition, we undertook category keyword research that would inform site design and web copy.

Based on this understanding, and considering the equity held in their current brand, we renovated their brand mark with a clean and simple design and prepared a fresh new style guide that was rolled out through signage and collateral. The branding and keyword research, then seamlessly rolled into design, development, and copywriting of a new website (HubSpot CMS). The new site showcases their team’s extensive capabilities, service offering and project work as well as being set up for on-site SEO performance. And by adding custom photographic assets and a smart filtering tool, we dramatically enhanced the user experience.


The website launched in late October and was planned to coincide with numerous other brand assets, thus providing customers and internal staff with a memorable brand experience, along with positive momentum for the brand. Initial data shows dramatic improvements in website traffic and downloads of their capability statements.
